How ONLINE Auctions Work:
There is no physical auction. Lots are listed for a fixed period, and users may bid either before the auction begins or during the auction.
To bid, you must have an ACCOUNT on DROUOT.COM, or create one.
Auction Schedule:
Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, bidding closes every 30 seconds per lot.
At 7:00 p.m.: Lot 1 closes,
at 7:00 p.m., 30 sec: Lot 2 closes,
at 7:01 p.m.: Lot 3 closes,
at 7:01 p.m., 30 seconds: Lot 4 closes,
and so on.
If a bid is placed at the very last moment for a lot,the closing time is extended by 3 minutes.
After logging into your account, you can:
- place a bid higher than the current bid.Click the "Bid at XX €" button
- place an automatic bid.Click the “Place a Bid” button. In this case, you’ll set a bid limit (which will remain unknown to the auctioneer), and the DROUOT.COM system will bid on your behalf against other bidders. Auctions may therefore end without necessarily reaching the set limit. Under no circumstances will the amount you specify be exceeded.
